When one ride is not enough
Some journeys cannot be split into separate rides: a tour around Switzerland, a programme across several cities, a delegation with meetings in different places. For those you book the car and the chauffeur for several days. He takes you from the hotel to the first appointment in the morning, is available during the day, drives on to the next town in the evening and is ready again the following morning.
An example week
| Day | Route | On the way |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Zurich Airport → Zurich | Arrival, city tour, hotel |
| 2 | Zurich → Lucerne | Rigi or Pilatus, Lucerne old town |
| 3 | Lucerne → Interlaken | Brünig pass, Lake Brienz |
| 4 | Interlaken → Zermatt | Täsch, Gornergrat |
| 5 | Zermatt → Lucerne or Ticino | depending on weather and mood |
| 6 | Return → Zurich Airport | Back in good time for the flight |
An example, not a fixed programme. We build the route around your dates and interests and adjust it as we go.
What the price covers
The vehicle, the chauffeur, fuel, the motorway vignette and every drive of the day – including the short ones from the hotel to a restaurant and back. Not included: entry tickets, mountain railways, your own meals and accommodation, and, on tours far from base, the chauffeur’s room and board. Those items appear openly in the quote so that you know where you stand.

Frequently asked questions
How is a multi-day tour charged?
A flat rate per travelling day, plus the chauffeur’s accommodation and meals when the tour goes far from base. You get the breakdown in writing beforehand; there is no per-kilometre tariff.
Is it the same chauffeur every day?
Yes, that is the point. After the first day he knows your luggage, your pace and your habits. Only on very long tours do we change drivers for rest-time reasons, and we agree that with you in advance.
Do you book the hotels?
We are glad to help choose and reserve, but the booking is in your name. The driving between hotels, to the sights and back is part of the tour.
Which routes are most common?
Zurich – Lucerne – Interlaken – Zermatt, a loop through eastern Switzerland with Appenzell and Lake Constance, and the run through Graubünden to the Engadine and on to Ticino.
Do you drive abroad?
Yes – southern Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein, Alsace and northern Italy. Tell us the route when you enquire so that we can plan vignettes and border crossings.
