When hourly hire makes sense
Whenever you visit several addresses in one day. Typical cases: a morning of client visits in Zurich, Winterthur and Zug; a property tour with several viewings; a trade-fair day with hotel, fairground and dinner; a hospital appointment of unpredictable length. Instead of ordering a new car each time and waiting for it, the car is there when you come out.
An example programme
| Time | Programme |
|---|---|
| 09:00 | Pickup at home in Winterthur |
| 09:45 | First appointment in Zurich, chauffeur waits |
| 11:30 | On to Zug, second appointment |
| 13:30 | Lunch, chauffeur stays on site |
| 15:00 | Return with a stop at the airport |
| 16:30 | Arrival at home |
A day like this is quoted as a flat rate, not on a meter. You know the price beforehand.
Which car for longer jobs
For several hours we recommend the Mercedes S-Class or the BMW 7 Series: still comfortable after the fifth stop, quiet enough for calls and with room to work on the way. Travelling as four or more, we send the V-Class so the group can talk during the ride.
| Vehicle | Passengers | Luggage | Guide price per ride |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mercedes-Benz E-Class | 3 | 3 suitcases | from CHF 180 |
| Mercedes-Benz S-Class | 3 | 3 suitcases | from CHF 190 |
| Mercedes-Benz V-Class | 6 | Large luggage area | from CHF 210 |
| BMW 7 Series | 3 | 3 suitcases | from CHF 170 |

Frequently asked questions
What is the minimum booking?
Two hours. Shorter jobs are billed as a single ride, which in that case is usually cheaper for you.
What does an hour cost?
The rate depends on the car, the duration and the distance covered. Send us the date, time and rough programme and you receive the flat rate in writing before you book.
Does waiting time count?
Waiting is part of the hours you booked; there is no extra charge. Only if the job runs considerably longer than agreed do we bill the additional hours at the same rate.
Can I change the programme during the day?
Yes. Within the booked time you go wherever you like – just tell the chauffeur the next address.
